  • Chronic back pain

Acute pain is presented immediately and can last for days or weeks. Oral medications and conservative measures help and usually resolves on its own with no disability nor sequels.

Subacute back pain may be present for a longer period, approximately 4 to 12 weeks. This may require the continuous use of oral medications and even back support to improve mobility and physical activity. It may also be a sign of an underlying condition that may produce chronic back pain.
