Minimally Invasive Decompression
The procedure of decompressing nerves by removing a small bone fraction in the vertebra is called Laminotomy.
This may be a treatment option for relieving back pain caused by a herniated disc, spinal stenosis or other causes that may put pressure on nerve roots causing pain that affects your daily living.
Our minimally invasive laminotomy is an outpatient procedure that requires a small incision for the exposure of the lumbar bone affected and to remove the bone portion that is causing the pressure on the nerve root.
The recovery of the procedure is short, and you are discharged the same day.
